About us
Founded in 1990, the Orange County Branch of AALAS is a non-profit trade organization, guided by a board of directors made up of representatives from its membership.
In addition, the 7 committees are manned by member volunteers whose purpose is to improve communication within the industry, expand AALAS's sphere of influence, and work together on common concerns.

Upcoming Events
Please join us April 30 – May 1, 2009 at the South San Francisco Conference Center for the “Bridging from Tech to Technology” 2009 AALAS District 8 Meeting. The Program and Workshop Schedule is set and registration is officially open!!! This 2-day meeting will include hours of superior continuing education, advanced hands-on workshops, an opportunity to take a pencil & paper AALAS certification exam, fun optional excursions, and unmatched networking opportunities. An Awards Breakfast will open the event on Thursday morning. Following a full day of workshops and presentations on Friday, May 1st, take in a ballgame at AT&T Park, and if you’re still in the Bay Area on Saturday, take a behind-the-scenes veterinary tour of the new Marine Mammal Center at the Marin Headlands, followed by a Sunset Cruise on San Francisco Bay. We'll have vendors, a Technician Fun Fair and plenty of great food!
